FIRE 1130-306 - Rescue Pract Emerg Aid - 17798     

This course trains emergency medical technicians and other allied health and safety personnel for emergency care of the sick and injured at the scene and during transport. Classroom experience and practical demonstration are used to familiarize students with the use of rescue equipment. Students are assigned a minimum of 10 hours of rescue observation ride time or 10 hours of emergency room observation experience with a minimum of 5 patient contacts. Lecture: 4 hours, Lab: 4 hours
